In all seriousness, Stroll can be a decent driver and the reason for that be because his dad had the money to guarantee him spots and cars and sim time and personal trainers etc. Racing is not a meritocracy and Lance is an example of what any normal person could achieve with an unlimited budget and the drive to do it.

I’ve come to the same conclusion. Stroll while being Daddy’s fav, has actually stepped up and shown he can race. Mazepin on the other hand? ooof... he is the poster boy of pay to drive. And I would not ever stop dissing Mazepin even if he was on pole because I would suspect daddy pulled some shenanigans.

Exactly. Sure he has a head start on everyone, given his dad’s money, but still it’s not like he looks out of place. Lawrence Stroll doesn’t seem the type to let a completely uncompetitive driver into his car. No matter what Lance does, he’ll always be associated with “daddy’s cash” which is unfortunate as I believe…

Agreed. At 1st I disliked Lance, but he's grown on me and he's had se good moments. Mazespin made me realize that Lance was not that bad. 

Actually, if Stroll hadn’t bought the team then Mazespin’s dad would have bought the team. So let’s all rejoice that Lance was good enough to make it worthwhile for his dad to buy the team. Stroll Sr is doing some seriously impressive things with AM. It’s not just some vanity project.

Yeah and at least sir Lancelot genuinely comes across as a decent bloke (Latifi as well). Neither are up their own asses about anything from what I’ve seen, whereas Nikita comes across as a whiney bitch.
