I completely agree. They shared a lot of commonality that I haven't seen many reviewers actually think hard enough about to have picked up on….

Just more confirmation that he's in charge of the harpies. He knew the attack was coming, so he GTFO.
Damnit, you just ruined my theory that the rumour is the High Sparrow's a paedophile.
LOL. Thought the same thing. Loved those stiffened mechanical movements.
I bet the rumour is that the High Sparrow is a paedophile!
Despite being an all around satisfying episode, we weren't given much of a siege, and we were robbed of two potentially extremely climactic fights - the Blackfish, and the Waif. Having those deaths off-screen was a real middle finger to the audience. Also, Arya's completely out of character behaviour from last week…
I feel like Lancel is going to die trying to protect the High Sparrow. Don't know why, I just feel like he's definitely getting the axe.
It's pretty tragic that Hodor has had his entire life controlled in this way, of living for Bran. What twists the knife further, is that even in his afterlife, the Night King will assimilate him into the undead army, and once again, he (or his body) will be living this second life without any form of agency. Hodor…
I love that. Great observation.
Okay yeah, I take it back. You're correct.
And It's a nice thought! It would be wonderful if it were true! But far too many things contradict this, and the questioning of the timeline of the show is validated by many of these contradictions.
I have to admit, the falcon does have this hilariously, uncanny resemblance to Lord Royce.
I have to say I'm pretty surprised you guys didn't review the Tower of Joy fight scene, but nevertheless this was a great episode! I've started watching films and shows in a whole new light since your BCS S2 analysis. and it's been really rewarding to be able to take things away from scenes that I before never thought…
I second this. I think that would be an incredibly welcome addition for many fans Including myself, as that is one show that truly breaks the mould when it comes to film direction and how scenes are shot.
LOL, ahaha that's the greatest GoT joke i've ever heard!
I feel really bad saying this, but I got such a strong sense of unwarranted aggression in this piece from the author. It didn't feel very much like a review, it felt like a book snob rambling about a show he doesn't enjoy any part of, but still reviews it anyway.
After everything Roose has seen and known his son to do, he still thought there was good enough in him to just hug out the fact that he's no longer his true heir? Come onnnn.
46 weeks, apparently.
Oh man. I would have loved that. You should write for the show, would do a helluva better job than D&D!
That would also be satisfying in it's own way, if only for the confirmation haha.
