Or, going further down the history - make a proper biopic about Alfred The Great, probably the most important king in both Anglo-Saxon and English history. Continue this with how his children and grandchildren finally reconquered all of Anglo-Saxon lands from the vikings.

I used to dislike Lindeloff for Lost and all the shitty nonsense he wrote while people in Hollywood were letting him write movies. Leftovers changed that, and the series finale made me forgive him everything.

Yes, I agree. Books 4 and 5 are pretty terrible and D&D were correct to throw away about 80% of these books’ material. They should’ve thrown out even more (looking at you, anything connected to Dorne).

Also, Blackwater was so heavily rewritten and changed during the production, that you might as well call it a Benioff and Weiss episode.

There is nothing particularly new here. They talked about the terrible pilot back when they did the interviews for season 1. The also talked before about having no slightest idea how to run a TV show, and having short episodes in season 1 as a result.

I also thought she never went to the “other side”, but it doesn’t matter. That’s the beauty of this series - the disappearance was never explained, but the show was never about the mystery. It was always about how the characters dealt with something unexplainable and with the loss of the loved ones.

Can't argue with that ...

This is a good addition to the large collection of Dennis' creepy lines.

SPOILERS:

Yes, the original pilot had her as Daenerys.

The entire Hyperion series are awesome. I tried to read Ilium/Olympos, but stopped in the beginning of Olympos because the emtire story is a bunch of nonsense.

Fair enough.

I don’t hate the actress, I have fond memories of her back from her Chuck days :)

I noticed Fred’s admission that he’s sterile.

The best modern comparison is The Walking Dead, or at least it was up until season 7 when I stopped watching it. Out of 16 episodes per season, only the season premiere, season finale and midseason finale and premiere mattered. The rest was filler that could’ve been condensed into 2-3 episodes, and I’m being generous

It was the first episode this season where something very significant happened, and I liked most of it. The previous 10 episodes could’ve been easily condensed into 2 or 3.

I only saw the first three episodes. Let me guess - someone gets pregnant with an alien monster a-la Prometheus?

The spaceship’s crew makes Prometheus’ crew look extremely competent and professional, and Prometheus had biologist who was first afraid of a dead body, but then decided to pet an alien snake.

I saw Chernobyl couple of months ago, so I waited for the hologram/android or whatever William is to say to them “bad news, all of you will die of radiation poisoning within 2 weeks”, but apparently the radiation only sterilized them.

I see these characters as nothing more than Nazi war criminals. Do I care about Goebbels’ life before the war? About Ilse Koch’s life? The answer is no, at least for me.
