I almost flew it two years ago. I guess AY662 is close enough. Still got to HEL.

This episode didn’t quite work because let’s face it, the past parts are much more interesting than the present ones, Claire and Jamie are heart and soul of this story, discount Keira Knightley is terrible, especially when she has to act opposite Catriona Balfe, and the whole thing felt like a filler before Claire…
The Stand had the greatest first act of any King’s book. All the stuff with the plague and the breakdown of society is amazing in how horrifying and realistic it was. Too bad it got downhill after that, and the ending was terrible.
In most of his longer books I’ve read, the setup was much better than the resolution.
Or let’s have another secret Targaryen! Dany can go have diahrrea in the Dothraki plains for all we care.
I agree about Dorne in S5 being the worst part of the entire series, but Dorne in the books was even worse. It’s my least favorite part of the books, even more than the Ironborn shenanigans and whatever pointless waste of time and pages goes on in Essos.
I used to think that ASOIAF uber-true book purists are the most insufferable people on the Internet, but Rick and Morty fans are much worse. They behave like a cult of smug assholes who think that the fact they like R&M somehow makes them superior to anyone else.
If you go to see a Darren Aronofsky, David Lynch and other such directors’ movie and expect an ordinary story, told in a coherent and logical way, you didn’t do your homework.
Scott Buck was responsible for Dexter’s final 3 seasons.
Same for me. I loved the original Twin Peaks, I liked almost everything of his I’ve seen, and I went into the third season of TP knowing that it will be weird and will probably make zero sense. I am OK with this and I loved the 8th episode too.
It finally started to make some sense, until it didn’t again in the end.
That I can agree with. However, this doesn't mean they glorify war.
Yeah, because Price Of A Mile, Cliffs Of Gallipoli and scores of other songs are about how awesome a war is. They never glorified wars, and people who think they are pro-war or pro-Nazi or pro-whatever, have never read any of Sabaton's lyrics.
I don't know what was I expecting.
You are overestimating the number of viewers this crap has.
Reel Big Fish are fucking awesome.
Wasn't it already explained in Enterprise as some chemical warfare or virus or some other technobabble explanation?
Harry Dean Stanton is immortal, isn't he?
The chapters about Greg Sestero and Tommy's friendship kinda prove that Tommy Wiseau is either an alien, a vampire who woke up after 500 years of sleep, or both. There is no way he was born and raised by actual humans of 20th century. Even if he's a foreigner, it still doesn't explain just how weird this guy is.
The Strain is a dumb schlock, but it knows what it is. I love it.
The CGI on this show is way worse than the CGI in the 2007 movie, and it was the weakest part of the movie.
