The best part of this episode was Jarl Seigfried punking some French guy just before the execution. Siegfried was probably known to his friends as Seigfried the Trickster.

I love everything about this show, but my favorite part is definitely the Scottish accents. Music to my ears. It's like every Scottish character was told to sound as Scottish as humanly possible.
The girl who plays Torvi is another of Michael Hirst's daughters, IIRC.
