Oh, trying to popularize this pipe dream again?

Wtf? Electrical noise in the Speedo circuit?

Me voting NP:

This. I am not disagreeing with the Wankel rotary's ability to bankrupt a company (and the occasional individual), but to imply that it's complexity was the reason for it's unreliability isn't true.

They still do. See the A1 E-Tron Concept:

I've over inflated tires on a project car when it sat with good results.

Nice Price assuming the usual rust isn't lurking at the rear wheel wells. Looks like it was very well cared for.

The power seat buttons in the E28. You're looking down on them from this angle and will invariably hit no less than 3 buttons incorrectly before you figure out how to move the seat forward/back. One of the main inspiration to install my E34 seats with sliding buttons on the side.

Thanks. Now I want an Autozam AZ-1 again.

$36k!? This has wife's idea written all over it.

I have really enjoyed how many feathers this car has ruffled:

You wanna talk sacrilige!? Any hardcore Rotary guy will tell you that swapping an LS in place of the 13B is like spitting in the face of the Baby Jesus. The thought has crossed every RX-7 owner's mind, but you should know not to do it!

18k? We're in LS swapped RX-7 territory here. And if I'm not mistaken this is a focus... Yeah, Cp.

Step 5: more Wankel parts for me

It's more than just valve timing, the piston and connecting rod do not act directly on the crank so that all 4 strokes happen in one crank revolution. Take a look at the animation:

Nah. You can rebuild a 13B with little more than a set of feeler gauges to clearance the side seals. There are technically only 3 moving parts. Doesn't get much simpler than that.

Now playing

Some really nice boingers there, but in case that didn't quite do it for everyone, I'll just leave this here:

"Imagine that your Tesla does over 200 miles on a daily basis."

Understood. Bosch Motronic FTW then. I've kept my work and ownership of E's in the 20's and low 30's and have always been impressed with the reliability, engineering and quality.
