I live in Los Angeles where our cars are best considered second homes. I have no shame in eating a sandwich in between gears, or drinking a coffee, or pressing the call button on my steering wheel, or yelling at Siri to play a different song.

When you have children, toddlers and babies specifically, sliding doors and huge space sounds like it wins out in the end. These things are built with the understanding that it's going to be used for hauling kids around town, and they're made to deal with that. Loads of nooks and crannies for storage, seats that fold…
