Tom, I’m curious on your take - why is the Supra not selling? Is it the BMW tie in, Lack of a manual, wrong car, wrong time.....I have not seen a single Supra - maybe that will change in the spring but I doubt it....

Cheap shot in the headline, especially considering emissions regulations were largely responsible for the demise of the rotary engine.

Those reasons are much more elaborate than the reasons why the old Camry owners I know still drive theirs. Which is: Everything still works but the cassette deck so I don’t need a new one yet.

Wait..I thought we were all supposed to like and want pensions?

This is going to be pedantic, but the Fat Lip front bumper change on the ‘99-’02 4Runner is the one that irks me on a personal level.

Looks like they were boldly targeting a ‘70s Jag XJ with their steering wheel design.

*smacks roof * "you can do so many MPGs in this bad boy"

But I do wonder about the “high” prices on 80s and 90s cars as I look at what I feel are suddenly languishing prices on cars from the 50s, 60s and 70s.

I’d like to have a 1938 Chevy Cabriolet or 2-door Sedan as a street rod.

Millennial here who would love nothing more than to drive 30's hot rods for the rest of my life. 30's cars are still holding value pretty well though because the good ones are iconic, the mediocre ones think they’re worth iconic prices, and the rest are miss matched “rat rods” that think they’re worth mediocre prices

What about the space that minimizes chances of door dings?

Digital photos are not real photos? I’ve been living a lie!

For better or worse, Musk has brass balls to try a stunt like that, even if it wasn't a smashing success

Oh yes, it is sooooooooo rare to see a blacked-out SUV these days.

Also Patrick You did not make a boring purchase. Your BMW was cool and this 4Runner you bought is also very cool. You might have bought it because it's practical but that doesn't change the fact that it's also pretty darn cool

According to my 4 year old, if it doesn't have a tire on the back, I can't buy it.

Opposite-rock

I don’t know if even the French are capable of being as snooty as Mopar people.
