I find that KIA and Hyundai designs often have to grow on me. But I don't like the C-pillar because it eliminates a window for no good reason.
Tech that takes a driver off the road and shuts them down when the car notices erratic driving, might also take a few phone users off the road to “sober up” too. Not sure that’s a problem.
