There’s a much broader range of passenger vans in Europe that fit the FWD fullsize, midsize, compact model. And they are legit passenger vans even if not the exact form factor that someone decided was all we can have in the US.

I learned the move from Car Talk circa 1995. It’s always worked, even from inside my house. Though I’m always a little embarrassed to use the technique in front of other. I feel better knowing I’m not the only weirdo who uses my head as an as amplifier.

My real problem is I can’t resist free mowers that don’t run that I fix with a quick clean of the carb, fresh oil and some adjustment to the kill cable. I now have three. So I’m sort of reduce, reuse, recycle on the gas mower.

Voting independent is a vote. And makes a statement. But sometimes that statement is that you cared more about making a statement than making sure the worst possible candidate didn’t get elected. Sometimes you should just hold your nose and vote for the one that is less dangerous.

I have a half acre to mow. I need to buy an electric mower. If the internet can be trusted that would be a bigger win than giving up my LT-1. I just need to stop waiting for the batteries to get better because they will always get better.

Here’s my hope: transmission failed. So the Expedition has power for brakes and steering. But can’t shake the feeling that this didn’t end well.
