There are plenty of things worth fighting/arguing over. But a parking space is not one of them. I’d have driven off and found a trouble free parking space feeling the confident that karma would sooner or later show up to adjust her attitude driving a no-name car and yelling “Towanda”.

Loved the hidden wipers in my 70 Fury III. But parked the wipers upright in the winter. Or tossed two rubber door mats over them when anticipating snow ice.

Works both ways! But also works better if you aren’t cutting through paint lines.

But if you smashed the sealed beam, you likely had body damage around it. On my two cars with sealed beams, if the lamps are broken, I’m in for a hood, fender and bumper at minimum.

My gosh, I just scored a pristine set of headlights for our 2003 Sable at the you-pull-it on the south side of San Antone for $24 which is exactly one dollar less than the cost of one new Sylvania H6054 sealed beam for my 1981 Plymouth.

Right. Looks abrupt to have then end at the cut line. Staggered and ending short of the cute line makes it feel more evocative of current lux coupe fender decorations. And creates more of a sense of movement.

I suspect some dealers do provide value. But if it’s mostly true, let’s let the market decide buy providing a choice.

I did a set on the rear of our wheelchair van. Super easy install and no more bottoming out.  And the bags made the suspension more progressiv which was good given the variety of loads we see.
