I’ve brought out my manual 81 Champ for my commute as of late. No AC so not a car I’d normally use in Texas Summer but with no traffic I can go 65 to 80 the entire way which means I can keep a good breeze coming through the open windows, keep up a good head of steam to help the remaining 60 bhp make it up the next

That are prohibited from doing so, I believe.  They felt it devalued the brand.

Most boomers the first time they drive a 56 Ford pickup in the cow pasture. But I had it mastered within the hour. And glad it was the pickup and not the 63 Falcon with three on the tree.

I've tripped on sprinkler heads in my yard too.

Look in the bright side. Someone SOLD their M3 for a quarter mil. That’s got to make for a good day!

Not legal in TX. Even a license plate frame that covers anything on the plate is illegal.

They call it the Classic Black plate...there a $50 upcharge to have a not ugly plate.

Good PR. As in PR that’s actually good.

I swear I designed this truck when I was in kindergarten.  (And would make me feel like a kid again if I could have one.  It’s just a happy, smile inducing little pickup.)

I so wish they’d done a Lakewood of the 2nd Gen.  Some day I’ll commission a custom.  Better yet, a Nomad version.

If we do the Riv, no reason we shouldn’t also do an Electra 225.

Well, everyone deserves a second chance.

Not the Supra.  THAT Supra.

Try the NPR One app. It’s like Spotify for news lovers. And will sprinkling in news from your local station too.

I feel confident that this is not going to happen. The work from home reality will set in for employers and employees. I’m already hearing it.

Commercial radio has been on a long decline. NPR’s audience had continued to grow. People age into their audience. At the point you start to think of the world more than yourself. For some people that’s 18, for others it’s 38.

This is correct. Public radio’s share of listening is up in many markets because the music stations were much more profoundly impacted by the loss of commute listening. Classical stations and Spanish-language radio have tended to benefit from the lock down too.  Sort of depends on what your alternatives are.
