20 years ago I was driving the same Camaro Z28 convertible to mountain tops in Oregon to visit transmitter sites. Granted, logging roads. But slow and easy wins the day.

Self-destruct button in case caught by a Jalopnik spy?

Except, couldn’t you do all of that with the eco-booster instead of the ginormous F350?

I live in Austin and think I look very outdoorsy driving a convertible to the trailhead and then going on foot.

You’ve never driven a GC with two screaming twins who would not stay in their car seats. White knuckles is spot on. Though my wife’s color was raging red! (Her color, not her van’s.)

On my fifth Voyager/Caravan.  The only one that didn't go 200k miles plus was rear ended by a F350.

I asked Nick’s neighbor Karen what she thought and she said she’d get back to us after she calls code enforcement. scap yard, and police. She did say you should move someplace where you won’t impact her property values.

Sorento?

Nice to see you! Your superpower was needed on this!

The person who would be hunting for this car would pay $20k in a heartbeat (of America). Or maybe haggle down to $18k.

How did we not get pictures of the Sorento?

I like the design! Plenty of SUV design cues to please the embarrassed-to-drive-a-van crowd.

I think it makes good sense to separate turnsignals from brake lights. That makes them both more visible. Like when you are signally and braking.

Fortunately there were alternatives! I’m not a fan of the wrap around spoilers on Trans Am and RX-7 above. The stealth boomerang is Radwood gold ... even though also a trend no one wants to revisit.

Let’s say you build a golf cart, a kiddie pedal car or even a toy car that looks pretty much like a Jeep based on including most of the identifying design elements of a Jeep. Yes, it’s at scale...but I think the any reasonable court is going to stop you. Even if you slap a Mahindra logo on it.

Autocorrect=Autoincorrect

It’s like I’m getting a ticket tape parade every time I get in my Plymouth Champ and turn on the fan. A fiesta of live oak leaves spewing at most of the way to work especially when I get on expressway.

But aren’t Lexus’ money makers gussied up fwd Toyota sedans and SUVs?  Sounds like a good route for Infiniti perhaps. Maybe not for enthusiasts.

I think the old one looked just fine given it was designed long before it arrived in the US.

Older every day I’m not dead. Column shifter seemed uncool until replaced with a dial right next to another dial.
