My other brother’s birthday is January 2nd. In college it was fun for me because I pretty much would be drunk from Christmas Eve til January 2nd and we had a reason to keep the party going.

Did you mean January 1st? Or is there a whole swath of people that go out drinking on New Years Day that I don’t know about?

I am nominating January 2nd as the worst day to have a birthday all year. Everyone is hungover on your birthday and doesn’t want to go out as an adult and as a child it was close enough where you still got the whole, “We’ll just get you one big gift” from family members.
