Can someone tell me what goes in the back of these trucks? Is it all fuel/supplies or what?

I've had it "help" once. My front passenger tire got cut and I didn't see it before i got in my car. Its not like I would have gotten anywhere anyways, but at least I didn't try to drive on it.
