As great as it was to hear Snake again (and the Colonel, and Ocelot), the best part of this celebration/pitch/hype train concocted by Vogt-Roberts was hearing Sniper Wolf’s codec bit, which was completely unexpected and awesome. Kudos to Tasia Valenza for agreeing to do it.

Problem is, in Japan the voice actor for Venom Snake is the same guy who has voiced Big Boss and Solid Snake, so that justification for the switch is flimsy at best.

MGS4 has a different voice actor for B.B.

The only good bit of voice acting Sutherland had in MGSV was the “you are all diamonds”speech, which actually sounded like he put some heart on the words. Other than that, it always felt like he was just reading from a piece of paper in front of him.

I am level 3. Plenty of people with level 4 and 5 have reported that they only got 1 box. It seems that ther endorsement rewards activate at random, and a few (including me) got them at the start of the event.

Yup. I actually got three event lootboxes but plenty are reporting just one. I guess it’s related to the endorsement level.

Even as a kid I never found Pepe funny, because I though his “guy who can’t get a no for answer” gimmick to be creepy, and nowadays his cartoons are unwatchable for me. I mean, just look beyond the whole funny animal thing, and it’s basically an asshole who thinks WAY too much of himself and stalks a girl to the point

You have achieved the much coveted but seldom seen Internet Victory.  Congratulations!

I can sorta understand scoring Speedy so low because he is considered problematic nowadays, but then it is hypocritical that Pep LaPew isn’t also at the bottom of the barrell considering that he is a honestly creepy character (unlike Speedy, who is 100% heroic and cool) and he is based on the horrible stereotype of

“Oh Speedy, we needs your help because we are so lazy”

The comments to this article are balls, and I wish I could pick them and give them away.

Hey, just stating a fact, don’t shoot the messenger!

They kinda did, Trials of the Blood Dragon

It’s been a while since I’ve player either game, so bear in mind that things may have changed. DbD is much more polished, but Friday is more ambitious and does a better job at pushing an authentic “Im really in a slasher flick” experience. When things work and everything goes your way, I honestly found Friday

Back in my day we blamed Hanzo if the the team failed. Hell, we would blame Hanzo even if nobody was playing Hanzo!

Mercenaries 2 wasn’t a terrible game, but yeah, it had problems. Besides the painful bugs, it was like Pandemic didn’t understand what people liked about the first game, and every change and addition they implemented was detrimental. I think the best example is how Mattias Nielsen was depicted in the games, in Mercs 1

Broly reminds me of DC’s Doomsday, a one-note brick to throw at the invincible hero, devoid of any character beyond being very angry and very big, that for inexplicable reasons has become popular.

Anime Sarah Connor is best girl.

“White people wonder why people of color don’t trust the police; this shit is why.”

If you read superhero comics, you have to accept that they will die and get ressurected, probably several times. Plus, it it’s actually part of ther character, being the Phoenix and all.
