I guess having to hide that is the reason for all the Widow’s action scenes to be so full of quick cuts and shakycam, which was quite jarring in Civil War as the rest of the action scenes were pretty clean.

On the other hand, I too don’t give a hoot about Final Fantasy, and yet I instantly knew the character. She is really that recognizable, so I must say, yes it is a bit odd being a gamer and yet not even have an idea who Tifa is.
I am currently short on cash and can’t afford to buy Overwatch and fuck every person who is playing that dumb game right now.
The Disney/EA legal people are going to wait until the very last moment, for the game to be days (perhaps even *a* day) away from release, to throw all their lawyery might at it and ensure maximum harm to the devs. There is NO way in hell this is going to pass.
If an advanced alien civilization was truly benevolent, it would mean that it grew out of the many social maldies that still plague us, which probably would make them much less prudish and more open to sexuality that we are. I seriously doubt our porn would weird them out, and in fact they most likely could teach us a…
I have a friend who is a relatively known Rule 34 artist, and he’s been getting Overwatch commissions non-stop for a while. People just love those characters, and thus love, eh, seeing them loving each other I guess.
While it’s stupid to deify Gaben and Valve, they are really not the same as EA and Activision. Like, not releasing the sequel of a very popular game that WILL generate massive profits is the opposite of what EA and Activision would do. If Valve was the same type of company, then we would be waiting for Half-Life 13,…
My 4 year old HD 7970 still runs all my games perfectly at 1080p, so no, it is not time for an upgrade for me. I’ll most likely hold for another generation of GPUs, unless AMD really knocks it outta the park with Polaris (doubt it, but, hey...) later this year.
The problem with MGDMT is that it switched from gag-of-the-day strips to mostly ongoing story arcs a while ago. Posting a single page from the middle of a storyline doesn’t really make any sense to a reader. I love the comic, but the format doesn’t really fit the Sunday Comics style anymore.
I don’t get how it is possible that after 7 years, no other game has come close to the amount of enviromental mayhem and destruction you could cause in Red Faction Guerrilla.
You know, I like how in the comics it’s an actual sound that follows Jason everywhere.
You know, Bloodrayne is an odd thing to me. The two games (not even going to count that one terrible sidescroller) were just Okay, fun but not great by any means, and the last one was released a decade ago. And yet, lots of people seem to remember the franchise (or at least the main character) with great fondness.
So, you get pedantic about the meaning of “waggling” instead of addressing the point that those are unncessary motion controls that replaced normal button inputs for no real reason beyond “we must have motion controls in this game”.
I can give you three Nintendo example off the top of my head.
I don’t own a Wii U so I can’t say how the console handles motion controls, but with my old Wii, it was a constant, infuriating occurence that in the middle of a game while waggling like mad, I was left thinking “holy shit, why can’t I do this by simply pressing a damn button?”.
If nobody got how to play the game right, I think it is pretty clear the controls weren’t intuitive at all.
Well if it was Batfleck, he’d most likely shoot the entire area with rockets. Just, none of them actually aimed at the guy.
