Doesn’t seem fair. Some of those board members probably haven’t even gotten the chance to be grossly negligent of monstrous crimes yet.

hah thanks. I certainly don’t want to see the school burned to the ground (we have so many old trees!) but it’s just wrong for alumni of any school to look away from this shit

Thank you for not being a Penn Stater about this.

I am so goddamn disgusted with my alma mater. I loved everything about my time at MSU, but cannot and will not support this institution in any capacity until wholesale changes are made. These early firings and resignings are a start, but just that.

If it was only Fox Sports engaging in this kind of silence (after ratcheting up their rage machine for days and weeks at a time), it would only be awful. As it is, it’s a corporate policy at all Fox networks to do a shit job covering any story, anywhere, anytime.

Dvora, a sincere thank you for your diligent and well-written pieces on this entire case. You brought this story to an audience and a forum that might not have paid it the attention it deserved. Your work was always informative and insightful and you brought a lot of humanity and feeling to a disturbing story. Bravo

Thank you and the rest of the staff so, so much for continuing to give this the coverage it needs and deserves. Please keep the heat on MSU, USAG and the USOC - Nassar’s sentencing should not be the end, but only the beginning of a righteous whirlwind that should sweep away all the enablers, aiders and abetters.

Now playing

I’m hoping for some shit like the one from the Jeffrey Dahmer sentencing.

I have no inside knowledge, and I’ll probably get this totally wrong, but I’ve gotta think it snowballed. They tried to cover up the first few reports to cover their own asses, then the next few, and then they realized the problem was way bigger than their pathetic, self-serving, miserable, piece of shit organization

I don’t want to read these, because they make me sick and very sad. But I force myself to do so because the victims deserve to be heard.
