Nope. If you keep finding yourself associated with and defending rapists and pedos (see, her brother, that tattoo faced rapper, and now her bf), then I highly recommend you seek therapy. Something isn’t right.
I cant wait to laugh at every single one of these fools. All proceeds should be given to the local workers who got stiffed at the end of it all. They’re the only ones who deserve any sympathy.
“You don’t belong here!”
The ‘trained liars’ bit caught my ear, she’s clearly listening to white nationalist, Jordan Peterson, Tucker Carlson, hateful propaganda.
Oh, man, this hits me where I live. This was my coming-of-age, during the hey day of this kind of retailing (high school & college in the late 90s/early 00s), and there’s still a weird sort of internal pull toward Vicki’s (gawd) and Abercrombie when I’m at the mall, despite the fact that I never felt comfortable in…
“It just seemed like I was seeing interracial couples everywhere. It was really demoralizing me,” Jackson said, whitely. “This is the new way and we can’t restore what we had 50 years ago.”
Based on what else she said in the interview, I imagine the chat also included Woody saying something like, “Mia told me you were so stupid, but I don’t think that about you at all. You are so smart. She is so cruel to have said those things about you.”
Also, Mia Farrow was far more than Woody Allen’s girlfriend. They behaved as a family, regardless that Allen never formally adopted the older children, including Soon Yi. He maintained a separate home but spent a great deal of time as a member of a family unit, a father or father-figure to impressionable children.…
It is crazy that anyone would think this exonerates him. Like absolutely insane. The languages she uses is heartbreaking and ABSOLUTELY SHITTING BANANAS at the same time.
It’s amazing. From the language ‘you’re super special and your mom is a bitch!’ ‘I dont think you’re retarded but everybody else sure does!’ to the isolation ‘we decided that I don’t need a job, or friends of my own, just take care of Woody first last and always’ to the choice of interviewer and the fact that he was…
Her life story is sad all the way around. I have no idea what happened with Mia, but one thing is clear, she never bonded with her adoptive parents. Andre Previn was out of the picture and she loathed Mia. Woody took complete advantage of that.
To the troll above (howdy, Tim): What Mia did or didn’t do is irrelevant. Soon-Yi was a teenager. Woody was a grown man in his fifties.
“We chatted about it, and I must have been impressive because he kissed me.”
Not to mention that the chores seem terrible for affluent kids, but not all kids. Many kids are given responsibilities of cleaning and homemaking as a part of the family unit.
Their entire “love story” is a textbook case of grooming. If her claims of abuse by Mia are true, far from discrediting the idea that he groomed Soon-Yi, it would have made her a more likely target. Abusers will often pose as “saviors” to get troubled children to trust them. He’s scum.
including one in which a dispatcher questioned her mental health
I work at a non-profit in the city and myself and many of my coworkers make less than 50K, so I will be honest and say I am baffled by the fact that an intern far outstrips me in salary. I don’t know that I know many people my age who make as much as this girl and I am significantly older than her. I survive fine in…
I thought I was washed up at 35, and then stuff got better. I hope the same works out for you. I spent 5 years looking for a full time job, pulled up my roots, resettled, tore my ACL, got on Medicaid to take care of it. Stuff turned around so dramatically I can’t believe it. I hope it does for you too.
