Oh, I know. I followed it from the very beginning. I didn’t have a PC to play the earliest stuff. And I didn’t like the idea of the founder’s pack stuff for a “soon” to be F2P game, so I waited and jumped in formally on day one of FBR’s release.

One requires a purchase while the other doesn’t. Save the World isn’t available on all platforms. The community separates them when discussing them. The updates and additions vary across modes. They had different release dates.

It annoys the living fuck out of me that they are celebrating Save the World’s birthday in Battle Royale and acting like the game is all one and the same.

Meth.

Think of it this way, that’s not much worse than those of us outside Florida who are disappointed in you 100% of the time.

I’d be real impressed if he even knew short division.

Was born and raised in a rural Pennsylvania town. This is 100% accurate. I have a hard time driving through my home town anymore (after escaping to college) because I now see just how backwards and shitty it truly is. And I don’t even come from one of the worse towns.

I’m doing my damnedest to grind out my Fortnite weeklies so I can go back and finish Owlboy and maybe play through the new Mars expansion for FC5 if I have the time.

Enter the Gungeon is 1) 50% off right now 2) a fresh recipient of a big new meaty content patch and 3) amazing pick up and play bullet hell goodness.

They should take a page out of Farcry’s book and allow you to repopulate bases/towns/regions so there’d be a reason to actually keep playing and engaging in the game.

Seriously. Just a handful of new enemy types or vehicles could provide a lot of replayability and freshen up the campaign, potentially to a point where it’s worth replaying.

As someone who very recently platted this game and struggled for HOURS on the hard boss rush due to the finicky controls and horrible AI and texture glitches rampant throughout the game, this is truly awe-inspiring.

Seriously! My buddies and I (all 6 of us who frequently play together) had JUST come off of finishing Wildlands together. It was repetitive in a lot of ways, but hot damn did co-op with actual friends make that game something special.

I think the only way this works in the nearer term is something akin to what the WiiU, of all systems, tried.

My buddy’s first FC game was Primal. I lent it to him and he friggin’ loved it. I felt so bad once we both finished FC5 ‘cause we both thought it was a huge step down from Primal.

Seriously. One of the reasons I stuck with Fortnite was that it at least has a style and one that doesn’t look like an asset swap. It has a sense of self. Nearly every other battle royale game looks like it’s demo tech for an old SOCOM game.

So do we all.

Snagging fresh street cart stroopwafels while wandering the streets of Amsterdam changed my life.

Sadly, the Virtual Boy’s failure likely means Nintendo will not be a part of the 3D resurgence that, nowadays, may actually allow them to create some of the most mind blowing applications for the technology.

Google is your friend.
