I think you’ve lost sight of Kaepernick’s own skill level. It’s extremely comparable to Matt Moore/Jay Cutler/Joe Flacco. I’d say those two teams are a wash.

I’ve said it time and time again: Flacco will only play when his paycheck is on the line. The 2016 contract extension was undeserved and they should have just cut their losses then. Now that he is old/unlikely to ever get another NFL contract, he’s just mailing it in.
