Given the absolute awfulness of Only Revolutions (I'm not sure I've ever hated reading a book more than I hated reading it), I'm not holding out a lot of hope that a 27-volume work is exactly what the world needs from Danielewski.

@dr_bambi: Well, there was the whole cross in the crotch part.

@RenRen: Oh, well, okay then. Your vague, abstract response makes your point entirely clear.

@RenRen: That's a fairly willful misreading of the dozens of articles, books and interviews they've given, regardless of whether you agree or not.

@FrankN.Stein: I don't think "he's so dark" is reason enough, but The Proposition, and And the Ass Saw the Angel definitely are.

@Jack B. Quick (jbq): I agree on SOTL, but Anthony Hopkins in Titus is absolutely unassailable.

@blomster: Yes, but you'll be paying quite a bit for the phone itself, and most likely incur more on a month-to-month basis.

@Palmerlime: Come to think of it, you're totally right. Which is a shame. Or a blessing. Or both!

@battra92: I very much sympathize. I'm not allergic to anything, but my wife's allergic to anything that comes from the rubber plant. Any and all bell peppers can cause a reaction anywhere from mild mouth itching to full on shock.

@BenjaminLange: I didn't have any problems with it, other than speed (which, I know, I'm using a netbook).

@RenRen: Beware the Outlook on that. Everything else works fine (I've got 2010 installed on my netbook as well).

@Blackagar Boltigon: That's a start, anyway. The really irritating thing was that his evidence was, essentially, that he had watched The Filth and the Fury, and was pretty sure John Lydon was a "leftist".

This same writer also wrote an "Infiltrator" piece about this new phenomenon involving right-wing hardcore and punk rock, in which he insisted, repeatedly, that punk rock has always been a left-wing occurrence.

Holy God, that sounds utterly, utterly awful. It also makes me have some more respect for Raimi, as he certainly could have screwed it up to the point of no redemption.

@Nasdaf: Is Oldboy really a science fiction film, though? And if so, how?

@houdinination: I'm sort of surprised, given all of io9's love to Children of Men that it didn't make it here.

The 'Day-O' scene in Beetlejuice is A: The reason I got into Harry Belafonte and B: One of my all-time favorite scenes from any movie, ever.

@thexpert: Bah, whatever. It's a decent movie, and if nothing else, I think the use of The Killing Moon in the opening sequence might be one of the best uses of popular music in a film I've ever seen. #thebox

@astroboy888: Until the manufacturers start making more reasonably priced Android handsets, I don't think it will catch on. The first OEM that releases an Android handset in the $200 - $300 contract free range is going to make a freaking fortune.

@KefkaticFanatic: What would put it in your range, out of curiosity?
