Between this and the Tom Gabel/Laura Grace article, this is the first issue of Rolling Stone I've in which I've had any interest... well, years.

Too cute by half, at least. The entire article seems to pivot on the idea that technology isn't adapting to the human body fast enough, which, given just the last 20 years of technology, is laughable.

"You must've thought it was white boy day."

I can't tell you how many local friends of mine (in Denver) have posted the original, Discovery News headline: "Rockies May Have Been Formed By Giant Sucking" with absolute glee, given the regular, abysmal performance of our baseball team.

@Tony Kaye: Agreed! Though, I do wonder what that being my favorite says about me.

@SpinachPuffs: But then, we'd potentially miss gems like, "surrounded by stars blazing in the blackness of night"!

@DasStan: For me, it was Underworld and The Damned United!

@mikecoscia: There are, but it's not really common.

@casewindou: I dunno, having lived in that area of the country, none of these folks seem particularly out of place.

@Steve Williams: Yes, and she doesn't appear to be complaining, only joking about it. But I'm glad to know you don't have any sympathy for someone who is injured while working on entertainment you likely enjoy.

@BrockEffnSamson: I think he actually could have made an interesting take on Brock / Venom, if it hadn't had been so badly rushed.

@corpore-metal: Isn't that part of the conservation viewpoint, though? Do gains in efficiency keep up with the pace that we're consuming resources at?

Poor Kraven, he's always typecast as Kraven.

@drunkexpatwriter: Or, it ended up, "Imelda you until you can't walk for a week."

Given how completely fantastic Titus is, I have no choice but to be excited about this.

I'm kind of surprised no one has suggested Tyrannosauron, sworn, feared enemy of the Hobbssethounds (known for their massive feet and ears).

@bakana: If you can auto-pilot through some of the more boring parts, The Navidson Record section of the book is really pretty groundbreaking, terrifying and exciting.

@bililoquy: You mean, following Only Revolutions, a 27-volume work about a girl who finds a cat doesn't sound exciting? Maybe this time, the text will be overlaid with kitty litter.

@bililoquy: Yeah, I get that too. "I'm not independently wealthy", but I'm turning down millions of dollars. Gaze longingly upon my ramen-eating integrity, sellouts!
