@SDreamer: Agreed. I'd say that, at least in small part, the relatively high entry price to HTC is a turn off for a lot of consumers, particularly right now in the US. Additionally, what they do offer at a reasonably price pretty much binds you to T-Mobile, which certainly isn't the largest carrier in the US.

@ArtfulSlinger: To get technical, it's also an art form (yes, it is an art form, regardless of what the rest of you think) that's been "trashy" for, well, thousands of years.

@Hana Maru: I'll grant you that it's unreasonable to tattoo your body and not think anyone won't like it.

@eri401: Tattoos are often associated with gangs? Really? I mean, I guess some tattoos are (teardrop under the eye, etc.), but, I dunno, I associate them with thousands of years of culture and history.

@Sputnik_Sweetheart: It really, really depends on the job. I have a white collar, professional job which requires me regularly to facilitate classes, give presentations and just generally appear in public on my company's behalf a lot. I also have full sleeves. It seems like a lot of younger companies don't really

@peacemongermom: The process of stretching is actually an incremental one, which allows the skin to adapt, rather than tear it.

@asketchymess: Actually, any show given this description: "It's like the cast of Hee-Haw joined a paramilitary sex cult" immediately gets my unwavering attention.

@Lolita Hazed: I dunno. Every picture I've seen from it deflates me just that much more. I also just don't buy their casting.

@Macloserboy: It's interesting to read Wayne Kramer's apologies in Please Kill Me (sorta) for the MC5, White Panthers, etc., basically being misogynist pricks.

@judgingnora: Indeed. And, in addition to that, I don't think that pointing out poor logic to make a dubious point qualifies as trying to shut them down.

@RollsRoyceRevenge: Oh come now, everyone knows that all straights think blonde jokes are funny.

@not.a.clever.name: Yeah, so, without context (admittedly, I'm being a bit snarky now)...

@katastic: Really? Seriously? Okay, then I don't understand this at all. Any of it.

@stacyinbean: The problem with a blanket "don't attack the editors" stance is that, in a lot of cases, the editors write from a very personal and matter-of-fact perspective. This can make it really difficult to attack the substance of a post without directing it at the writer of the post. I think the comment earlier

@RollsRoyceRevenge: I want to see an entire column devoid of any description whatsoever. Sort of like a madlib advice/realization column.

@BlowJoy: Assuming you were referring to the baggage with SM, that is. If not, then I'm off-base.

@BlowJoy: I think the interpretation was that These Are Things Gay Men Have To Teach Us, which doesn't exactly add up, because, as numerous people have pointed out, plenty of well-adjusted people come to many of these realizations on their own.

@rmric0: I refuse to apologize to braak for whale blubber pants.

@braak: A rubber chicken worn as a bonnet, bear-rug blouse (complete with head) and pants made of walrus blubber. With crocs.
