Many programs have just a handful of black people, and it’s rare to find the ones that have percentages that reflect our numbers in the US population. What the fuck…

This might be the cynicism speaking, but probably nothing. They care less about international outrage than the US does (the governments of both nations that is). If you could do something to hurt their economy (like a boycott) maybe. But a few things about that:

I honestly hope he realizes, in many medical schools across the country, Asians are not considered a minority, as there are far, far more Asian medical professional students, than Hispanics, Blacks, and Anerican-Indian/Pacific Islander.
