Also, American law schools are insane. INSANE. It is possible to go through three years of law school in Canada and pay less than $20,000 in tuition (I mean, it's rare, but it can happen). Total. Even the most prestigious schools (Osgoode and U of Toronto) are under $25,000 per year.

I know I'm really lucky, because I also got through undergrad loan-free (thanks, University of Guelph!) I panic a lot because I have more school debt than a lot of my friends. But it's probably like, 25% of what some Americans have.

I'm feeling really grateful for Canadian tuition and academic scholarships right about now.
