The article was fairly explicit that there is no pay difference related to gender with respect to employees performing the same job. This report focused on pay gaps per gender to identify that overall, positions that offer higher pay are held by men.

You do realize that they aren’t paying them unequally for the same jobs... It’s that the women are being employed for the lesser paying jobs.
