My Lexus owners manual is a phone book but most of it is helping old people learn how to use a phone. Anything maintenance related it just says to visit my local dealer.

Okay. Listen up. You’ve got a couple options here depending on how you’re traveling. Are you a lone stag? Ok buddy, this is going to require destination consideration, which airline you take to get there and a Hawaiian shirt. Now, smile when you come on the cabin and politely and considerately, always smiling, still…
Is there something wrong with me that I just fucking love all these failed 2-seat cruisers? The TC was Chrysler’s entry, but Cadillac had the Allante and the XLR, and Buick had the Reatta. It’s a wonder Ford didn’t attempt some kind of Lincoln-Mercury thing (no, the Aussie Capri reboot doesn’t count)
I work for one of the aftermarket automotive information providers and we do have TSBs going back that far. I looked and couldnt find any TSBs relating to the hardtop window. There is one from 1990 on the movable quarter glass and another one the same year about weatherstrips on the hardtop but nothing I can see…
This is the type of journalism the world needs more of. Thank you Mr. T, and a happy belated birthday to you!
Pffft....I don’t even own a television set! Well...I mean...I do. But I never watch it! Except to peruse only the most educational documentaries. But that’s it! Mostly....
Exactly. Talk about a dumb take. Anyone who actually watched Mad Men would realise that hot take couldn’t be further from the truth. And if any dude who watched it took away that Don was some kind of hero, that would just tell me that particular dude isn’t very bright.
Remember even though its pressurized the cabin is still set at a pressurization that is higher than most people are used to. This causes drinks to hit a little harder, thus in a lot of cases its one person thinking they can drink their normal amount and it hits worse than they were prepared for.
I don’t know about getting drunk on a flight, but I got stuck at LAX for 5 hours a few years ago and one of the airport bars happened to be located directly in front of our gate. I was nearly drunk by the time we boarded, but I know how to handle myself when I’m drinking. Thankfully, it was a quick flight to NorCal.
The traditional method: Start two sheets to the wind in the airport bar.
It’s adorable that you think they weren’t already four to six pints towards drunk before boarding.
Goddammit people, this is literally why we can’t have nice things.
Never let facts get in the way of a good outrage article.
Jesus Christ! Don’t get me started on all the stupid shit I said and did at 19! Some of it may even be spun as being racist when it was actually just utter ignorance and lack of thought. I think people forget how fucking hard of a transition time those last few years of being a teen are. Apparently, you’re capable of…
Oh man, you didn’t check in to see how this insane stretch of a nothing-burger was getting roasted over at The Root? Cause it’s getting no traction there, and it feels like their readership should know.
“At that age [19], teenagers are mature enough to know what they’re being part of.”
“I looked the group up on Altavista AND Dogpile, and all I found was their address and phone number.”
I’m really confused here as if the parents wealth was never a secret, what is a real revelation here? That Kemper won a creepy sounding pageant when she was pretty young? Also yeah, she was 19 then, but apparently grew up in a sheltered environment and might not have been able to make certain connections about things…
The Atlantic reported in 2014 that the Veiled Prophet Organization barred Black and Jewish people from joining.
So she entered a pageant and/or attended some weird debutante event. Is there any indication that she was aware it had a racist history? It may be hard for some on here to believe, but googling the damn thing wasn’t an option in 1999.
