But we can dream can't we?
But we can dream can't we?
I wouldn't be surprised if Volvo dropped out just as their former Swedish brethren did. Volvo makes absolutely fantastic cars. They're built so well, in fact, that they last forever. This leaves the die-hards attached to their old bricks and as such do not need to buy a new one. Perhaps there is something to this…
Alright Captain Pedantic, let me wallow in the embarassment of my bad metaphor and move on with your life.
I was implying he had little to no control once the truck became airborn.
Once he went through the wall, it became the equivalent of an unmanned projectile.
Was downshifting also not a viable solution? Sure he may have blown the transmission trying, but at least it could have slowed down the unmanned missile he ended up piloting.
I played SRS, and it doesn't hold a candle to...well..any racing game. The ONLY interesting part was the culture element, and even then it was still chunky. I played the demo for Horizon for 15 minutes and I already love it. Sure the physics aren't Simulation, but who gives a rat's ass? I don't buy Hello Kitty games…
Thanks to Barrett-Jackson, there is no way in hell you could call a 60's Mustang reasonably priced. I think even the automatic straight-sixes would be just out of that range, and those would suck to drive anyway.
I was waiting for somebody to speak up about this. I wondered why BMW was the only one getting flak for this when everybody else is doing the same shit. I can't help but think that US marketing has a lot to do with this, as many of the current model-line blitz tend to be Crossovers which primary market always falls to…
This is only made more wonderful by the few offended commentator's replies, and the fact that the punchline only shows up after the jump. Well done.
The more you report on MS and their releases, the more willing I am to clear out the Apple products and switch to full Microsoft. In fact, the initial catalyst that caused me to start getting iProducts was when I couldn't replace my second Zune with another one. I settled on a 160Gb iPod classic (huge piece of crap,…
Touche.
Not really, it's just a badge.
Just out of curiosity, did anybody bitch about Audi offering the 'S-Line' trim when it first came up?
I completely agree with you J, and I think it's quite funny that it spawned either fanboys jumping in to defend their logic and hatred. Apparently, the irony is lost on them.
This title made me laugh like John Madden's Turducken video.
1949 would be one of the worst years to go back to, as far as being able to enjoy driving. I agree with the other comment about stock and real estate. Then I'd make a pit stop in the 70's, using my wealth to become a Formula 1 driver.
You should at least e-mail the photos to the mother!
I'm obviously jealous of the means, but holy cow is this kid intelligent for being in high school. Building your own CNC machine in 10th grade? I was just getting my first job and started building my first car. His breakdown of the power calculation was pretty good too, very interested in seeing where this project…
Reliable, in good shape, clean, no ghosts or phantom mods. Definitely a NP. Sometimes you have to appreciate playing it safe.
