If this doesn't make the list I'll kick my own mother in the shins.

A troll for a troll?
My personal favorite was the bit defending him because his reported cause was just. Jalopnik does not care about good news versus bad news. Obviously all 34 replies to this post are perfect reason enough to post a story like this one. Like TV Ratings, it's all about the Hits here.
Just about to post "this is why twitter is so stupid". The idea that it has completely infiltrated the mainstream blows my mind.
You know he's in Europe because all those 'forum jockeys' push a 370Z or a used Cayman and not a V6 'Stang.
Wrong, CH is the one asking that question and his passenger chooses the Porsche.
The British Pound is stronger than the US Dollar.
Drove it stock around Tsukuba when I first purchased mine in-game, 1:09 or so.
I think he was using the Porsche to try and help characterize the nature of the GT86, and not so much dollar for dollar comparison.
If you didn't notice, the list was topped by a goddamn Camaro. It wasn't about motorsport heritage, it was the fastest street cars for $10k. You think a turbo eclipse is faster than a twin turbo VR-4?
Want to make ANY CAR faster? Upgrade the tires. FFS.
I was thinking this as well. In any case, I would like to be presented with a car with a similar future to this one (hooning, autoX, what have you) that doesn't have its factory rubber/wheels swapped out almost immediately. Who gives a flying fuck about what tires it comes with from the factory?
No, but this comment should effectively jam a stick into that hornet's nest.
It's probably faster. This is a 'fastest' list, not 'most popular'.
Well, it's not particularly fast. There are tons of fun cars that fit under the $10k bubble like Mk1/2 GTI's, Old CRX/Civic SI's, etc. None of these cars hold a candle to even the 3000GT VR4 at the bottom.
Don't some cars have built in screens in the rearview which shows the backup camera image?
Did anyone else feel they chose a horrible location for the camera? Most of it is great, but all the left handers were blind to us viewers. Good for him though! Pikes Peak is on my bucket list!
Agreed. My '84 GTI in high school had a broken HVAC unit; I had to wait for the engine to push heat through the firewall naturally. Wasn't bad so long as you bundled up.
