When it came out it was a road show film. You could get tickets and see half in the afternoon, half a night; or parts on different days. Trying to see it all at one time is a bit much to handle. It has it's own rhythm that you have to get into.

I for one would love to see a discussion about the response to TLJ without people insisting that everyone who disagrees treats everyone else like an idiot asshole. I’ve seen countless thoughtful, agree-to-disagree opinions here on the AV Club alone. This whole idea that everyone who disagrees gets painted as [whatever

This was basically my point.  You did a better job of saying it than me.

I liked the movie and I do think its likable two leads and the chemistry between them would lead to a higher acceptance there are still a lot of problems the film shares with the other DCU movies.

Greetings, news from 2 years ago.

Villeneuve. Blunt. Deakins. Johannsson (RIP). That’s a massive amount of missing talent.

Kit is wearing morning dress, which is traditional for a wedding.

There’s only one way to look at Masterpiece, and that’s how the SC suggested doing so: as a case which does not set precedent on the question of religious expression vs. civil rights. The case was kicked back because SCOTUS ruled that the prior appellate court displayed bias against religion.  It’s voiding the

People don’t know how to read. SCOTUS bent over backwards to say that the Colorado baker case did not set precedent on the important question.  It got kicked back on a technicality.

A misunderstanding of why SCOTUS takes particular cases and a misunderstanding of the Masterpiece decision?  You’ve hit the rare ignorance doubleheader.  Congratulations!

there actually WAS a mirror that i used to listen to, i think it was audio only (with the AV Club related sounds snipped from the beginning and end) but that one is gone, too. it’s a real bummer. i can only hope they put it out on a release like their Kinks / Danzig covers 7"

Like Ashton Kutcher’s and Mila Kunis’ storyline in That 70s Show happening in real life but with a happy ending, and Georgia Moffett being the Doctor’s daughter, then playing the Doctor’s daughter, then becoming the Doctor’s wife, and then finally - wait for it - giving birth to the Doctor’s daughter.

Paul Westerberg just flat breaks my heart. The moment I fell in love with music was hearing “Dyslexic Heart” and “Friday, I’m in Love” back to back on college radio on Guam. His tendency to self-sabotage, his unquestionable talent, the fact I don’t think a person in my office knows who he is, but they should.

Man, I love those Mescaleros albums. So enjoyable.

“But, but what’s going to happen to Anakin now he’s got that armour?”

To paraphrase my friend, “RuPaul is one of the most problematic things on Drag Race.” Gurl, you’re a multimillionaire that can’t even be bothered to remember the names of drag queens on your show. Somehow I doubt that RuPaul has never walked out of a conversation where Every. Single. Person is against you and telling

I’m not into John Mayer, but I agree, this is NOT a “heartthrob foodie” pic.

A big thanks to my friend Jemma Arman for her comments on each of the articles in this series, and a big thanks to all of you for reading.

I really want Stoya to go away. I was in porn for a couple of years, and never really understood the disproportionate media opportunities given to her by publications like Vice and The Village Voice. There are plenty of other educated pornstars who could be answering these questions, and who have more experience with

They’re so fucking good. Can’t wait to see them live again. That said, this looks like it was recorded from last year’s riotfest, which would make this video nearly a year old. Kind of weird to be putting it out now.
