Fair enough. Check in on Friday though, because I talk to Cross about that at length.

Not just an idiot, but deeply unpleasant and selfish. In rewatching the series from the beginning, it’s a little jarring to see how much of an about-face his character makes in Season 4. Previously he would sometimes be a bit heavy-handed (and would learn his lesson fairly quickly) but was generally the voice of…
I liked Season 4 as well. I think the remix is a bit stronger but I think they went a bit overboard with the constant recaps.
YES!!! Same! I love whenever I see him in stuff and want to find more with him in it
>>>>”Not only is he a wonderful actor but his English is really good (as opposed to, say, Ken Watanabe who is also a wonderful actor but far less comfortable with his English)“
I’m glad to know the answer but sad that it is the answer. Thanks though.
I still miss Helix. He was goddamn great in that.
The lip syncing is different than this performance. Hip hop tracks that have layering of vocals are sort of different that a traditional song....in old school hip hop the reason there were groups is because of the dividing of lyrical uses between emcee, a possible hypeman, and occasional vocal contribution by the dj.…
Having only ever seen a couple of episodes of The Sopranos, that opener had me wondering what the hell went on and if someone screwed up.
Rightfully so. They have their phases, sure, and I don’t think Tweedy has another masterpiece in him, but come on. There was a period of time where they were undeniably great.
I was a huge Wilco fan in high school (still am) and my best friend would always roast me for it. He said they were the textbook “alright band.” Then he got into Northwestern and knew he would never be able to say that out loud in public in Chicago ever again and I really reveled in that.
Solid list, but gotta disagree on Pan’s Labyrinth, and I think Wilco’s Being There is out-and-out great, A + material.
It was basically 3 movies jammed packed into one.
It’s almost like some exec at whatever studio owned the Pitch Black rights read a random sci fi script and decided to retcon it into a Riddick movie. The two films have essentially nothing to do with each other.
I assume 1800 is referencing the sexual misconduct allegations, not the assault.
Would it have made a bit of difference if the woman was any other color? This is a universal challenge of motherhood and whatever privilege Marlo gained from being white sure didn’t seem to be doing her much good.
This is the right decision. ToL is a masterpiece IMO and a creative zenith. Everything else has been almost a parody of himself, unfortunately.
I know this for sure, my initial thought years ago when I heard SyFy had gotten the airing rights for The Expanse (over other interested parties which included HBO) has come back with a vengeance, and my distaste for SyFy will now never die.
Thank you ABT!! YES! (I love spoilers, and your warnings were awesome).
This is a good one, but I still prefer their MTV VMA performance of this, especially since the stage then rotated around and had Green Day playing a non-single track to their new record.
