I go to bed every night praying it's true. And I hope before he did it, he asked Seagal, "C'mon, you a tough guy?" in an overdone Italian accent.

Wasn’t Gene Lebell the guy that choked out Steven Seagal and made him shit himself on set?
I keep hitting on Julius Caesar, maybe? His name is a synonym for dictatorial rule in the Western world. Whether that translates beyond Europe and the Americas, I couldn’t tell ya.
Remember when the position around here was that Antonio Brown was being unduly driven out of town by out-of-touch Steelers management?
Eh, in my experience it’s fine if you’re flying Delta. As I recall they have a tram that travels the length of the A Terminal. The only thing that would require an extreme amount of hustling is going to B & C.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t one of the key differences between Gordon and Bell that Bell wasn’t on contract?
I don’t see how that’s unfortunate.
If it’s a Deadspin piece mentioning someone in a pro sport front office and/or college sports administration, cynical is usually the MOST positive read.
To this day, I’ll never forget sleeping over at a friend’s house, screwing around and playing whatever games 10-year-olds play (I think it was Mario Kart 64 and that Brett Favre football franchise) when the kid’s older brother tossed the MGS demo into the Playstation. Everything ground to a dead stop as we watched…
“Curmudgeon?” This might be the only time I’ve ever seen Steve Blass referred to as a curmudgeon in any context. The guy is pretty universally known in Pittsburgh as a loose, funny guy.
Other than Batman Forever, all of those are movies that feature our first on-screen description of that particular franchise’s (for lack of a better phrase) Batman.
Dude. Take the L already.
I sympathize with Bell in a way I simply cannot sympathize with Brown, also as a lifelong Pittsburgher.
A lot of of my fellow Pittsburghers have expressed a similar sentiment, but at the same time, there’s value to the Steelers in removing Brown from the roster. The intangible benefit probably doesn’t make up for the loss of tangible production, of course, but keeping him out of spite does nothing but drag this out even…
What’s not to believe?
Only issue I took with IM3 - a movie I generally liked - was the Mandarin.
They asked us about a birth plan at the hospital, to which I responded, “I don’t know, I’ve never had any fucking kids before, you tell me.” The nurse actually chuckled at that, thank God.
Yeah, I gathered, considering most of the comments here are people that would apparently gnaw their own leg off rather than spend any more time with their coworkers than is mandated by work.
So do I. I’m not sure what your point is.
