The whole sequence kills me every time.

A young Sam Rockwell skateboarding and smoking cigarettes, no less.
“Regular, or menthol?” has been burned into my mind since I was 5 years old.
The Messenger was an absolute blast to play, and actually quite funny to boot. That’s enough of an endorsement for me to check this out.
The Axem Rangers... SUCH a product of the 90s Power Rangers zeitgeist.
The only thing that disappointed me in the trailer is that we didn’t get a look at those sweet bastards at the top of Barrel Volcano.
Marc Singer has to be wishing that Cannon Spider-Man movie had come out so he could have booked this.
“Ah, now I have my gritty backstory!”
If he owned it but he made movies that looked and sounded like Zack Snyder’s, would people be willing to “move on?”
Or is it only for people whose movies we like?
I got the Chromecast and the controller for free with some sort of upgrade to my Drive storage in 2020. I always found it remarkable that while the rest of the world complained about the Cyberpunk release problems, that thing ran like a freaking dream on my internet connection.
The biggest problem to me - and likely…
If I never have to see that anecdote in the comments section of a story regarding method actors again, it still won’t be enough.
You say all this as if “the first movie made an insane amount of money and generated Oscar buzz for the lead actor” is a novel rationale.
I didn’t particularly like the movie - actually, I also thought it was a slog - but I certainly don’t sit there and question why it’s getting a sequel.
You know what you almost never see? Someone heckling a diver.
has music by another electronic film-score legend: John Carpenter
“Think Cannon Films+.”
I was a relative latecomer to the Battlefield franchise - I have only played 1 (the WWI one) and 5 to this point - and the thing I like about those is that there are numerous ways to really make a difference.
Was that “The Quality of Mercy?”
That’s an all-timer.
I would say the other preferred use of CGI should be to hide the zippers, as it were. Hide safety harnesses on stunt men, or to finish off set pieces, as opposed to making the entire movie in front of a green screen.
Especially because so many of these movies are so artificially full! One would not have to work all that hard to trim these down.
Where I disagree with that, though, is the amount of money the buyer is investing in the game. If I’m dropping $60 into a game, I want more than 30 hours of action.
The thing that always sticks out to me with OHMSS are the on-location shots and lighting. M’s office looks like an actual office! The institute is an actual building in the Alps! It doesn’t feel as much like moving from one studio lot set to the next.
There are other parts of the direction that are... ehhh. The way…
Ahem.
I am vaxxed, I’ll wear a mask, and I’ll be damned if I’m not seeing No Time to Die opening weekend.
