We have curbside compost in a lot of the SF bay area and it is seriously the best. Back when I was still living at home our county switched from trach/recycle to trash/recycle/compost and we ended up able to recycle or compost at least 60% of our trash every week. Being from the NW recycling is like brushing my teeth, it’s just part of every day life, and it was shocking as hell moving to the east coast where it was an after thought or not even available at all. Get your shit together non-recyclers!

Shouldn’t the purpose of recycling be to recover our waste instead of creating more? Chasing after “profitability” just means that there will always be an excuse to make more waste.

Fuck people that can’t follow directions and recycle correctly - it’s literally one of the easiest things you can do to protect our oceans.

A number of the individuals making these threats have domestic violence and assault charges in their pasts. This is super serious and I hope these people go to jail.

Do these people realize they’re talking about a 12 year old? Regardless of gender, a child is a child and doesn’t deserve this bullshit from adults.
