Fuck, that’s a little more real than I expected today.
And the low information masses already wish to weigh in from my fellow greys that Congress had no input and that’s why the GOP hated the deal so much.
Google, use it.
“When the president negotiates a deal that is not deemed a treaty, Congress — if it wants a say on the deal — must convince the president to give the…
Well, a “world record” according to one publication that exists to sell beer and settle bar bets. I mean, we keep referring to this thing as if it’s some sort of actual organization that means anything and it doesn’t. They choose the criteria and they choose whether or not to send somebody to verify and they choose…
Trump’s going to start a war because that black guy who was president is still more popular than he is and he can’t stand it. Thank god we didn’t go with that dangerous email lady.
They were in compliance with a treaty that was ratified through our congress. If our negotiations with other countries can be shit canned by each new administration, regardless of compliance, why should any country take us at our word?
As they say, democracy is the theory that the people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.
I’m amazed by the people in the grays pointing out that it’s not a “real burpee”.
Eh I’ve long thought the skills gap was a myth because employers don’t want to pay fair wages for the skills they want. That’s like me complaining there’s a shoe shortage because I can’t find $10 Louboutins.
If you really want teens working in heavy industry, why not take a cue from the Germans and create and fund a system of technical high schools and apprentice based community colleges for students to attend (free of charge) and then work for those industries? All these companies talk about how hard it is to find…
trump really loves the coal industry, so I figure he’s looking to get 9 year olds back in the mines again.
This is horrifying. OMG.

An ‘absurd’ theory that half the show’s fans came to independently years ago because of massive amounts of foreshadowing going all the way back to the first season?
I quite liked the Lapis episode. It was a good subversion of the show’s tropes, showing that sometimes you can’t fix everything with an emotional song. I like Lapis but she’s a deeply broken individual and I think her emotional journey is too difficult to resolve by just putting the barn on the beach.
*SCREAMING*********
I feel Thurm’s frustration in wanting some more depth for Lapis’ character arc, but my affection for her was still enough for me to get a lot out of “Can’t Go Back”. I’ve heard clips of Jennifer Paz singing before, but she really knocked it out of the park with “That Distant Shore”. The music team is stellar as…
It never occurred to me before this occasion that it might be, but when it happened in this episode, it seemed to obviously involuntary, beyond her control. It was a bit terrifying.
A whole damn lot to unpack, and I want to rewatch both episodes. But at this moment I want to point out that the episode did a nice, subtle job of explaining where Pearl’s habit of wide-eyed, hands-over-mouth panic response to dangerous questions originated.
A few days after Bill Cosby was booted from the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences for being found guilty…
