I can’t watch Nicole Kidman in anything anymore because she has had so much work done she can’t move her face anymore. It was so distracting on The Undoing and Big Litte Lies I couldn’t focus on anything her character was saying. I can’t imagine her as Lucy, who moved her face so much.

You know, I’m looking forward to seeing older women occupy a screen for a change. Sex and the City was of its time, and not particularly deep, but it was fun. I don’t understand the deep vitriol that some display. I think all professional sports are stupid, for example, but I don’t log onto sports pages to comment…

Just watched the I love Lucy trailer and agree Nicole Kidman is kind of a weird fit. That said, Debra Messing isn’t exactly working right now. Nor is she a big name for Sorkin to tout which is probably what was most important. I think Kate Walsh would have been a better fit but what are you going to do?

It was also lovely, and sad to see Stanford. RIP, Willie Garson.

At least fewer people seem to be “clapping back” these days. There’s that.

I also dislike the use of slamming just as a replacement word for “responds to". 

‘Slow’ vaxxer is anti vax. It’s the same thing Mayim Bialik did. It’s based on ‘vaccines cause autism if given all at once’. They claim to spread them out (and finish them all, but then why did Bialik suddenly rush to get them caught up?), but it’s just rebranded conspiracy bullshit.

Donating to a single campaign is like giving that cute lone seagull at the beach a crust of your sandwich. Suddenly you’re surrounded by dozens of begging, vaguely threatening birds. And bam, you're in a Hitchcock movie that won't end. 

Oh god, yes. I am a huge PP supporter, but god it makes it hard to give them money knowing I’m getting re-upped on a list that’s going to go out to EVERYONE.

The worst was when I donated to Planned Parenthood. Years and years and years of robocalls followed.

Jeff has nothing to worry about since Leo probably looks at Lauren and thinks
“great-grandmother” and then scans the room for the barely legal models to chat up.

I find it more damning that he’s the richest person on the planet and still gives a shit what anyone else thinks. He’s that desperate for people to think he’s cool/funny/sexy? Invest in some hardcore therapy, my dude, and enjoy your ill begotten wealth.

Tl:dr - recently socialized with a couple who were involved in a romantic struggle in my life that they were directly involved in ... and a guy who was a mutual friend...it’s complicated.
