But why, if you’re going to be stuck in your car for hours, why not a Buick.

Dude move closer to work.

Ah yes, the vague comment where you are not sure if you found the sexual assault supporter or if they are just bitching about Jalopnik grammar.

Before I scrolled down to see the whole picture I was hoping it would be a light sabre.

Most exploitative company in history? I think the answer is obviously the East India Company - I mean you don’t get much more exploitative than the slave trade, the opium trade, privateering, engaging in the weapons trade while actively waging war and suppressing local populations with their own private navy and army.

1st gear: It has become fashionable to crap on Uber. But remember the days before Uber? Remember standing in the taxi line at an airport for 45 minutes, waiting for a cab? Remember calling a cab and waiting for an hour wondering whether the cab will ever show up? Remember standing on a street corner in a city on a

Morgan Stanley didn’t cause the shutdowns. Its not their fault. You cant just say that they owe the cart vendors anything because they don’t. Its a good gesture by the company and shitting on it is a bad take.

Orlove is the worst blogger on this site. Fourth gear and neutral are not even automotive related, yet he just can’t help himself to fill the space with corporation- or capitalism-bashing garbage.

“and destroying the profitable and sustainable career of taxi driving if it’s not going to fund some quixotic pursuit?”

It does look nice. I’ve seen a few on the road where the owners did a chrome delete and black wheels and it works well with the Pacifica’s simple lines. Chrysler offers a blacked out trim and AWD for 2021.

Agreed...but having said that, the current Chrysler Pacifica is a gorgeous design

The minivan.

It’s not racist though, try reading comprehension. You hire the best candidate for the job, period. Color/gender/ethnicity doesn’t matter. Hiring only BECAUSE of color/rage/gender IS wrong.

Such a clickbait headline, but I can’t really expect anything less from Erik. Tesla’s leadership is 59% white. The U.S. is 60.1% white. As much as I love to shit on Tesla, it seems like Tesla is doing a pretty good job making sure whites aren’t over represented amongst their leadership.

Honestly I’m kinda over the “lack of diversity in the workplace” thing. You can’t hire someone who is a person of color or a minority or a female (or any combination) just because you need diversity. You hire the best person for the position regardless of race or gender. Period.

The Daimler Chrysler merger.

Ignoring the Tesla threat until it was too late. Their cars are engineering garbage, ugly, and assembled badly but they have an “Apple Fanboy” like following that money can’t buy. Should have bought a controlling interest in the company before they were ridiculously overvalued in the stock market.

Using Takata airbags.

By far and away, my favorite part of working at a dealership, was when minty older normal cars rolled in.

Also annoying: When you go to build a vehicle and then go to the summary page to see what promotional offers are available and realize they’ve been already applied to your price all along.
