“Revered by millions around the globe” made me think of Bruce Willis, because of the Die Hard franchise. I don’t think he would have been that powerful in the early 80s though.

But he’s neither known as a family man nor revered by millions. And in their previous blind item on him Radar called him a “bad boy” actor. It doesn’t quite fit.

Or a family man? Or revered by many?

It’s not meant to be funny, it’s meant to be humiliating.

I think hecklers of female comics specifically assume that they’re voicing the popular consensus when they objectify and demean women and therefore expect success and approval. They think the woman on stage is the joke and everyone’s in on it, along with them, so they go into in with the idea that the public - and the

OMG!!! <3

I’m sorry about your cat.

Yeah, I’d be plucking up courage to stand up to all his defenders and stick up for the victim. I son’t delude myself it’s an easy thing to do (we’re very dependent on the acceptance and approval of our peers) but it’s the only right thing to do.

It just happens. Like a natural disaster.

Some people are attached to being an asshole. They confuse it with being edgy or honest.

It’s like she thinks one rape doesn’t a rapist make. One’s an accident, you need at least three to make you a Rapist capital R. UGH.

It highlights the core of the problem with our collective ideas of rape - it’s something that happens to women (mostly), like a natural disaster or an accident. It’s completely unconnected with a perpetrator. People don’t raped, people get raped.

So the only rape that counts is when a stranger kidnaps a woman in the only situation when she can be acceptably alone - between a building and her car. Otherwise it’s her fault for being in public, available. Fuck these horrible shit humans.

And I hate this very calculated language that implicitly excuses him - he was involved in it, people are putting him in a certain light... No, he raped a person, he chose to do it, he actively went and did it, it was his doing, he elected to rape an unconscious person, he could have not done it but he did it. That’s

Well this is rape culture. When everyone rallies behind the rapist because they don’t get what’s so bad about a little rape.

Even so, it’s dishonest to measure the action merely by its duration. It was a horrific action, a violation of a fellow human being. Yes, he should be punished for that, no matter how brief it was. The consequences for the victim will last much longer than 20 minutes, but I don’t think he even thought to look at it

Fuck this horrible person. No wonder his son turned out to be shit.

You are within your rights to deny the use of your body to another person. It’s your body and you’re taking action to prevent its being used in a way you don’t want it to be used. You either have bodily autonomy or you don’t. There’s no middle ground.

OMG you have one hell of a journey ahead of you. There are not enough words to express how much I love this show. I hope you will too!

Yup. I’m number 3 by the way.
