It’s crazy how far this series has come since the first LEGO Star Wars game was released in 2005.

Doesn’t work, anymore. Sony hotfixed it before you published the article.
I’ll just happily stick with the ‘basic bitch’ plan.
I find GT7's rain really disappointing. The spray is good, but the window accumulation is pretty awful and the wet track reflections can be very low quality. To each their own though. Highlighting Tokyo Expressway is a fair point, I was speaking more to the desire to have a game fully based around that culture and…
I love how well they nailed the rain on the windows, but I can’t help but be disappointed, by comparison (especially because the effects on the windows are so good), by the generic puff clouds coming off the back of the cars - especially when those are still there through most of a couple of those tunnels, where the…
It’s great. The “It’s too easy” critique is odd to me because Kirby has never been the same type of game as Mario or Yoshi or Donkey Kong. Kirby’s never really been about complex platforming and puzzles. Kirby’s about…being Kirby and eating stuff and powering your way through obstacles. This game does exactly that in…
I actually bought it for my girlfriend and we have been playing it for 2 evenings now. She is also a very casual gamer and would have huge problems playing something that requires controlling a character and the camera at the same time. So kirby is pretty much perfect. The difficulty, the fixed camera, the simplified…
Why not both?
Fantastic game. It’s not difficult, but there are a lot of secrets and puzzles that brought me a smile. It’s such a relaxing game. Even in challenge stages you don’t need to break the record to get the award, you just need to finish the stage.
I’m glad to hear it was intended as a kiss and not my initial assumption as a kid: that Kirby was baby birding the chewed up food directly into the mouth of his partner.
Nintendo always give great GDC talk. Very few developers have the time, skills, and resources to be able to pay attention to tiny details like Nintendo.
Great response. I see the light now
This Batmobile is a fustercluck of parts, as if Wayne cobbled it together himself, which in itself is so refreshing from the tanks and motorized dildos that the production designers have had a fetish providing for the past 25 years.
lol it’s a fair grievance and maybe we’ll all get sick of it one day but tbh i always enjoyed how tim rogers ended his videos. it feels silly, like a videogame website taking itself too seriously. like trent crimm, the independent (if you get that)
The new Batmobile has:
Dear God, yes. Somebody put a LOT of freaking effort into the car casting for this movie.
A black C2 was such a thoughtfully brilliant choice for the type of Bruce that Pattinson is playing.
Is there a Batmobile that hasn’t looked dorky in person? I’ve seen the “Batman Returns” one and it looks really chintzy and fake up close. Movie cars are kinda built with the idea that you won’t get to look too closely.
There’s also a fantastic collection in the corrupt Mayor’s garage - I remember a Pagani, a Morgan, a Ferrari, and an Aston Martin in that scene. Stellar car casting!
If you’re knocking a Kirby game for it’s simplicity then you haven’t been paying attention for the past 30 years
