You’re absolutely right - it’s much more like a caraway-y scone-loaf than actual soda bread, but that pretty much describes my ideal breakfast starch to a tee!

Trader Joe’s soda bread + a thick wipe of Kerrygold sustained me for pretty much all of March. Good for ‘em, lord knows I’ll keep buying.
AHHHH OUR HEROINE IS BACK FROM THE GREAT BEYOND
“This ultimately feels like an instance of the episode’s chosen style not matching up with the narrative function it needed to serve” seems like the most concise indictment of the back half of GoT's (many) flaws that I've happened upon.
Thank you SO MUCH for this beautiful gift. Best take I’ve seen on it so far, no comparison.
I will fight to the death in the name of Oui. It’s my guilty pleasure yogurt that I’ll only buy if I have a hefty coupon, but when I do... blueberry Oui could very well be my soulmate, to put it lightly.
...yeah, that’s a Tillke circuit alright. Very excited to watch Perez and Kyvat inevitably skip the entire 3/4 circle on the final lap and just take the quick route (be it through a barrier or not, ain’t nothing can stop those two).
I think I breathed like 4 or 5 times that whole episode??? Am I dead now???
Or Duncan, more importantly, given the credits.
Yes, but, on an editing level, having that scene directly after Jenny's Song made it SO much more powerful. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if that was a GRRM moment, tbh.
HOLY SHIT HAVING THE AEJON/DANY REVEAL CHAT AFTER JENNY’S SONG WAS A MASTERSTROKE OF MASTERSTROKES
...are we the same person? Former Wii Fit/Lucas/Shulk main here! Glad you're enjoying him as much as I am, at any rate!
Glad I’ve finally found a main after 4 months of sadly bouncing between idiots trying to find something to stick! The important chunks of Robin’s moveset fused with Marth-ish swordplay, and a pretty solid tank ability is all I’ve been looking for, tbh. And it’s Joker, to boot, which is just icing on the cake!
I’ve really been enjoying this one so far - figuring out the Sniper points and slapping a D.Va bomb on ‘em is just as satisfying as bombing Witch Sym on entry in Junkenstein, which could be a very enjoyable minigame in its own right.
As long as it’s done right, pulpy silver-age influence in serious scenes is my narrative CRACK. Boseman sells the absolute hell out of every second of it, too, to say the least.
The one you described is certainly top 3 or 4, but I’m still of the party that thinks the T’Challa/Zemo final conversation and suicide prevention is one of the most absolutely magical scenes the MCU has managed to produce. Brühl managed to inject more pathos over the span of about 2 minutes of screen time than any…
MIDAIR DODGES ARE BACK ON THE MENU
Best part of the Cap dual-wield was the WILD throw-Mjolnir-to-make-shield-hit-harder choreo, which is honestly some of the most inspired dumb comic book-y shit I’ve seen in ages. So ready to see that full sequence - potentially one of, if not the, most costly scene in film history, given the sheer cast/CG present, I’d…
Man, between Children’s Crusade and Avengers Arena, 2011-2012 was a brutal time to love Marvel’s youth roster... Thanks a lot, Hunger Games.
After his wonderful work as Niander Wallace in BR:2049, that might actually be pretty great, as long as he's encouraged to underplay. He NAILED the cold menace that the "planning" Sith always seemed to have in the EU.
