A friend told me today over lunch that she’s heard of few stories of bartenders taking cash from guys who approach them in advance, throw them 50 or 100 and ask them to slip something into the drink of the person they bring in later. Ridiculous.

Fortunately (or unfortunately as the case may be), that’s not the end that has the trouble when I have too much dairy. But that’s the thing - I can have about two servings per week with no issues. Above that and I’m screwed. So, I indulge responsibly and infrequently.

eh. The Girl Scouts version are vegan. Though I’m not one, I’m trying to cut back on dairy due to severe lactose intolerance. That has suddenly made Thin Mints, which I used to ignore, one of the few GS cookies I can eat. What do you suggest as an alternative to butter that will still make them taste the same?
