Anita seems independently wealthy though, why would she work for Burger? If he were to out her, she’d drag him down with her.

Oh what about the new secretary Della hired in the first episode? If I were looking for leaks, she’d be the first one I’d look at. It just feels like a contrivance that he leaps right to suspecting Ginny. It was a surprisingly sloppy plot turn for a season that otherwise has been quite strong.
I agree. I don’t know why he didn’t suspect Strickland or Holcomb before her.
But this is not universally agreed to as documentary evidence for it is scarce.
just throwing this out there, but could the the locksmith have anything to do with them finding out about the gun in the safe? they showed perry installing a lock in his own apartment, so why hire a guy to do the exact same at the office?the only other person i would suspect, aside from strickland, is the secretary.

Feels very possible! I think that’s what’s being held over Hamilton too, hence his sudden change.
Yeah I kinda hated the whole thing with Ginny this episode, because it doesn’t make sense that Mason would leap to her, and it should’ve been clear to him from her demeanor that she was innocent. It broke my heart to see her try so patiently to try to talk to him, to listen to him, and Mason just says she’s full of…
There has got to be a twist with Pete Strickland. I just haven’t figured it out yet.
I don't know that they'll kill off Anita. Simply because I think the writers would want to avoid being accused of falling in to the bury your gays type.
I feel the grade’s about right. Excellent Juliet Rylance courtroom interrogation. This felt the longest episode of the season. I didn’t buy that Perry would immediately suspect Ginny as the culprit working to wreck his case. I theoretically get it: Perry doesn’t like himself, and in his insecurity, he wouldn’t believe…

This show is so good and the season has flown by. Really wish we had more than 8 episodes.
Yeah, they should have kept Chris Noth in the last episode. They already shot it, I assume he’d already been paid...was it really worth it to throw away what was probably something fairly poignant? It’s not like it was going to revive a career that seems to be on life support.
So true. Women all just need to devote themselves to supportive domesticity! I’m so glad Miranda finally figured that out in her 50s!
Sexism is when you throw everything away for a man, whereas intersectional feminism is when you throw everything away for someone who isn’t a man.
Yeah, really relatable. My grandma is 98 and I make a point of calling her daily (she still lives on her own) and though I know she *loves* to chat, after just a few minutes she always says something about how busy I must be and she doesn’t want to keep me (it’s gotten a bit better since I realized all I have to…
Great review. I hadn’t quite thought through Jack’s social awkwardness until reading this, which is one of the things I appreciate about these reviews.
I remember my dad saying roughly the same thing when is mom / my grandma died. She was our last grandparent of the four and I remember feeling that emptiness of a generation gone.
I know the snark is strong with this one but from the original investigative article:
No kidding on Dorff. As I watch him in this, I just find myself wondering ‘where the hell has he been all these years?’. I expected Ali to be fantastic, but Dorff has been a revelation.
