When you instructed the celebs in SIARPC, did you do it in the full Stig outfit, or something else like street clothes and an open helmet? Sometimes the celebs gave you props for the lessons - did they actually know who you were?

You always go for the garage of you can afford it. In October 2001 I was was living in lower Manhattan, 4 blocks from the WTC, and purchased a new Jeep Liberty. I did not have a garage spot at that time. In November of 2001, a truck carrying debris from the WTC drove down my block. (This was not a usual occurrence.)

Not bad during the higher revs. But at lower RPMs why does it sound like it’s chewing on a bunch of marbles and about to stall? It also sounds like a noisy diesel when the hood is open.

Waze doesn’t work without the points system. It really only works if users have the app running (to auto-report traffic speed) and actively report incidents. Users need an incentive to take those actions. Take away the “gamification” component and Waze is just another mediocre map app.

I’m always amazed at the sheer number of fasteners needed to assemble such complex aircraft. Images like this show that proper hole alignment of mating parts is an engineering feat in an of itself.
