How would he have gotten the gun if it weren’t for lax gun laws? Most of the guns going to and from Mexico and the cartels are LEGALLY PURCHASED IN TEXAS! He is in possession of a gun, legally obtained by him, thru practically non-existent Texas guns laws. 1+1=2, Follow?
