This is the kind of Jezebel comment that gets a lot of stars but doesn't actually say anything. How did the original video demonize men of color, other than showing some men of color behaving badly? Unless it was CGI, I think those men did a fine job of demonizing themselves.

What is frustrating to me about this whole debacle is that, once again, a woman's issue is being reframed as a talk about men. I honestly don't believe the director's assertion that the white dudes were edited out. I think that they got the footage they got, and then someone pointed out it was mostly black and Latino men, and they sort of panicked and said 'there were totally white guys, too. We just, uh, edited them.'
