Reverse counterpoint: Jessica Jones had some of the strongest, most relevant themes out of any MCU property, and the title cgaracter is endearing, yet it still managed to suck via a terribly-written plot and frequently stupid characters. In other words, the examination of rape's aftermath is fantastic, but JJ

I agree, but only because I think their goals were way too vague for them to be compelling. Should The Defenders finally logically explain some shit about them, I think it'll turn out well.

Ninjas are timeless, motherfucker. As are the '80s. :P

What a silly little critique you have there. Quite possibly your flimsiest. I don't necessarily think you're 100% wrong in your other posts, but this one is pretty stupid across the board.

It took all of S1 for her to learn how to investigate shit and be considered a big part of the team. And the only reason she was at the S2 trial is because she was the only one Castle would actually talk to. She wasn't the second chair attorney, by the way, Foggy was.

I say that. Because I want to know what the fuck is going on with them, and for their storyline to get resolved. And if they don't return in Defenders, they'll be back in DD S3, and I'm sure everyone would just LOVE that…

THANK YOU. I thought I was the only person who didn't like it. Don't get me wrong, the themes it explores are strong, but the rest is thoroughly mediocre, at best.

That's how I feel about Jessica Jones, not Daredevil. Daredevil imo has, at most, some minor flaws and nagging concerns. Nothing I would ever call, "incredibly flawed," though. "Incredibly flawed," is, like, a Michael Bay movie. Daredevil's a helluva lot better than that.

That's what future seasons are for, dude. Sure, I'd have loved for there to have been some closure on those issues in this season, but I do think they'll be dealing with it more in the future. Especially if they do something like Born Again.

…What? Karen's a strong female character. The scene you mention is one of my least favorite with her, but then afterwards, she starts getting more and more kickass. I really don't understand the issue, here. She takes charge more often than not, figures shit out on her own without Foggy or Matt's help, and gets

They did answer that first question, though. The answer was, "Yes, he makes things harder than he has to."

The first season only has a ninja fight in that one episode mid-season. Otherwise, it makes its point, and remains as grounded as a show based on Daredevil could possibly be while doing so.

Eh. So long as he gets it, I couldn't care less if its in the last episode.

Throw a big ol' IMO at the end of all of your posts, and I wouldn't have an issue with your fucking obnoxious tone.

Yeah, I'm glad Jessica Jones had topical, and mostly well-developed, themes centering around rape, abortion, etc. That was good. Plus, I liked the acting.

Really? Jessica Jones sucked, despite the topical and important themes explored.

Why? In Defenders, they'll probably actually explain what the fuck's going on, and so long as the explanation makes sense, Daredevil S2 will a little better retroactively as a result of it.

"Oh my goodness, Murdock said the word, 'hope' in an argument with a madman who believed all hope was dead. And the madman basically brought the subject up. UNSUBSCRIBED. FUCK DIS SHOW."

No it wasn't. It had the exact same tone as prior episodes. And their fight was fine. I saw no major issue with it whatsoever.

I agree Mikey. And your tone is the kind I think people should be taking. "Well, I didn't like S2 as much, but hey, it was still decent, and the show's still cool, so I'm interested in S3."
