I’ve long wondered how long will be until navigation systems/ apps (looking at you, Google Maps) start having “sponsored” routes. A little longer, but they take you by a sponsored billboard or business.

By far my worst convertiable experiance was driving down Highway 1 in Big Sur. Top down, wind in my hair, hair in my eyes, hair in my mouth, ... really just hair everywhere... Italian engine roaring... what could be better?

I used to get this a lot, but even at mid-brand dealerships. I had a VW dealer refuse to give me a test drive until they ran my credit and then personally drive me to an approved testing location. For a GLI. Wut?

Same reason some SUVs have opening glass on the main hatch, I would guess. If you just want to pop something small in (single item/ bag, small child, etc) then you can open a smaller, easier to use opening. If you’re loading in a week’s worth of shopping or small children then you use the full hatch.

That was an optional extra.

I enjoy cars that perform beyond my expectations. I bought a beater Tahoe, and it has been exceptionally reliable. Not exciting or particularly interesting, but just does whatever it is asked, whenever it is asked, and I find that exceptionally endearing.
