this is the opposite of code switching, she married a baldwin and in her own home produces a fake accent.

Daybreak, which I know a lot of people dumped after its trite first two or three episodes, and I am not okay with this were both really fun. I would take off the two bottom shows, and maybe what we do in the shadows, for these.
No one criticizes Hollywood? Have you seen the evangelical websites, or Fox News?
Nerd Clarification - Monica Rambaeu is the daughter of Lashana Lynch’s character, Maria Rambeau, she isn’t replacing her.
I too am deeply confused about Melissa, its seems like 3 and 4 years ago someone (she or the writers) had a better sense of who she was and her particular brand of funny was, and that instead of finding avenues for that like they do for Kyle Mooney, or did with Mike Obrien, they put her in these vague unthought…
fuck Candace Owens always, but mostly fuck the“nappy hoes” phrase, which I would have thought would have died with Imus, Irony douche bags notwithstanding. Now it is back in the lexicon, and social media youngins are back abuzz with it.
This a wierd gripe to place on Kennedy’s head, since Lucas did the same.
did the arrow spinoff get picked up?
On technical merit the prequels were better, and that’s all that George was aiming for. We should just be happy it wasn’t sky captain and the world of tomorrow or Avatar. There would be no MCU without the prequels. The sequel movies on the other hand are a dead end. Any ideas they had are already hated, looking at you…
Chappelle’s energy is very much that of a rural conservative these days. There’s a lot of libertarian, live and let live philosophy with a lot of punching down on people he never has to interact with because he lives in a sparsely populated mostly conservative town. He’s still funny and very smart, but the genuine…
I think the implication is that it wasn’t a mistake, which if you follow a certain set of latinx women on twitter, rings true. Tonja Renee Stdiham quote above captures it. there are a lot of attempts decenter the work black women to recenter latinx women, and if a you’re a big enough name and still need support, you…
This is a weird statement after the VA had to setup up warnings for veteran’s who saw the movie and that in the TNT broadcasts they often eliminate most of the worst of the initial scene. Noone likes that scenes, it doesn’t even have the thrill of a horror movie, it just sits there.
I feel like you’ll be able to just reprint the reviews for Sahara right?
For the people who don’t have kids, let me tell you, there is nothing worse than walking excited kids up to the disneyland gate and being told that you can’t get in. Shonda was right to be upset on behalf of her sister, and that the guy didn’t just say let me get on it, is just disrespectful. Its not about…
I see what you did there.
I think more people saw endgame than saw titanic in theaters. As the author noted, Titanic was propelled by consistent repeat viewing. There are masses of people that never saw the titanic once in theater, while I think everyone saw endgame, but almost noone saw it more than once. There just wasn’t any meat on the…
The Boys could probably benefit the most from something like this. They could pack in massive effects and development into a 2 parter, that would allow them to push the story in new directions without going outside of the budget.
Aren't Pete and Colin from staten island not long island?
I agree with you, I was talking about the author.
I think that's the authors issue with it as well, if aoc didn't exist but the same storyline played out it would make an interesting turn for the character, but if you bring a lot of aoc to the character the heel turn feels like a betrayal of AOC.
