I think boycotting Amazon.com is a great start. But most of what Amazon is now is everything else. Amazon webservices, as covered by Kashmir Hill, dominates web traffic, and is really where amazon makes its profit. It’s what enables them to screw their workers, and/or turn them into independent contractors.

I’m really proud of how the unions stick up for immigrants, in the face all of the class/race war baiting from conservatives. I used to work with unions in my professional capacity, and for all of the other shennanians that Unions get up to, they really stick by the people.

The same way the tea party movement in 2009, when both houses and the presidency were democratic, paved the way for the fringe right to elect Donald Trump.

I agree, Bernie’s not going to get the nomination but him going to the far left will pull the center left. Even going against the Clinton juggernaut, the ideas he put out there are now mainstream democratic ideas.  He established a new center.   He’s got the ability to do it again.
